Where is this metaphysician?

I had an appointment to meet the metaphysician today. I set it up...or SOMEONE set it up weeks ago. It was right about the time that I was instructed to quickly, way too quickly, ween myself of of some psych meds I've been on for 4 and a half years. He wanted me off them in two weeks.
So guess what? My tendency to lean on metaphysical mysteries to deal with deep emotional rifts poorly came back into play.
I decided to worry about infinity again.
Infinity is a terrible thing to worry about because, being infinity, there's always something.
Years ago, I was worried about it going on forever. Lately, it's been about parallel universes and multiple or even infinite "me"'s out there making us all irrelevant.
So I'd like to see the metaphysician please...4:15pm? Great. I'll be there.
Well...it's 4:20 right now and I don't see him.
I've begun to develop lot's of theories again. Because I'm fueled by obsessive thoughts about metaphysical and pseudo-scientific topics. If anybody wants to wallow in the metaphysicians waiting room with me, I'd love the company. Come on in. The water's disturbing.
I do have a semi-serious question: "How do you square a distance or a time? Considering that one yard is equal to three feet but one square yard isn't equal to three square feet. So how is that a legitimate mathematical function in that case?"
Alright...the door has swung open. Is that it? Is that the metaphysician? It's just Abe Lincoln in a rain poncho.
I hope you'll come into the waiting room and help me.

Squaring time? That's an interesting notion...Lets make a few assumptions because I have a theory.

Assumption#1 :As we approach the speed of light, time slows down. I think that's the gist of it, I didn;t go to MIT.

Assumption #2: for every action there is an equal yet opposite reaction. This opens the door for many things...

So, if we go REALLY fast, time slows down. What if we stopped? Stopped. Completely. Totally. Would time speed up and therefore "double"? And really, how would you notice it? The nagging part about this, is speed is a relative term. Stopped compared to what? Where? Is it a point, or a concept? Akin to the Nirvana sought of old...Just a thought.
